"Development" Unit Manager at Gestion ferroviaire

What you can make move. • With your team leaders, you lead a department consisting of approximately 45 engineers, physicists, and other specialists, and assume technical and hierarchical responsibility. • Together with users, you define and assume responsibility for strategic initiatives aimed at the development of railway management systems, digitalization, and innovation (e.g., digital verification processes, automation, data analysis). • You guarantee compliance with technical standards (notably CENELEC), safety requirements, and quality standards, and you monitor compliance with the financial framework. • As a member of the Gestion ferroviaire management team, you actively participate in its development, both on a human and technological level. You manage and develop the network with industrial partners, suppliers, as well as national and European project partners, and represent Gestion ferroviaire in the competent bodies. What you bring. • With courage and determination, you realize large transformation projects, always keeping in mind the human aspects related to change. • During your career, you have already acquired experience in leading interdisciplinary teams. • You already have experience in the areas of project portfolio, budget, and risk management. With tact and diplomacy, you succeed in finding the balance on complex themes between customer needs, profitability, and safety. • You can demonstrate in-depth knowledge of industrial development processes (V-model, standards such as CENELEC) and in the railway environment. • The exercise of this function requires higher technical studies (EPF, university, HES or equivalent), ideally completed by continuing education in business administration or management. • You communicate with ease in German (minimum C1 level) and possess good knowledge of a second national language (minimum B2 level).
