Deputy Head of Operational Electricity (all)

Our client is a traditional industrial company with sophisticated production facilities and a high degree of technical manufacturing depth. To ensure that production runs reliably around the clock, specialists are needed in electrical maintenance to solve faults quickly, provide predictive care for systems, and implement technical projects securely. For this responsible key role, we are looking for you as an experienced personality.

Your field of activity:

• You represent the Head of Operational Electricity during absences and support him in the technical and organizational management of the area
• You ensure the availability of electrical production, processing, and infrastructure systems and undertake troubleshooting, fault rectification, and repairs
• You plan installations, conversions, and new systems and coordinate external partners
• You lead your own technical projects from planning to successful implementation
• You carry out periodic inspections of electrical operating resources and devices and ensure complete, legally compliant documentation
• You create and update electrical diagrams, drawings, and technical documentation
• You support maintenance planning, spare parts management, and ordering processes in the maintenance and ERP systems used
• You maintain contact with suppliers, external specialist offices, and service providers
• You undertake on-call duties (one week per month) outside of regular working hours and are available for urgent malfunctions or planned special assignments

What you bring with you:

• A completed basic electrotechnical training, for example as Elektroinstallateur/in EFZ, Elektromonteur/in EFZ, or Elektromechaniker/in EFZ
• The operational electricity permit according to NIV Art. 13 is mandatory; switching authorization for low and medium voltage systems is an advantage
• Several years of experience in the electrical maintenance of an industrial or production plant
• Sound practical experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of production systems as well as knowledge of PLC controls, ideally Simatic S5 and S7
• Experience with SAP, SAMA, or comparable maintenance systems is welcome
• Fluent German in spoken and written form, English skills are a plus
• An independent, careful, and responsible way of working; even during malfunctions, you prioritize correctly, decide pragmatically, and maintain an overview
