Making Future Job Description With a drafter apprenticeship at AFRY Schweiz AG, you set the course for your professional future. We offer you a varied and demanding training in the exciting world of an engineering company. You will receive interesting insights into various specialist areas over four years and will complete your apprenticeship at the end with a Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (EFZ). As of August 2027, we have two vacant apprenticeship positions at our headquarters in Zürich-Altstetten: DRAFTER WITH SPECIALIZATION IN CIVIL ENGINEERING - ZÜRICH During the training, you will learn, among other things, the following activities: Creating digital models and plans in structural and civil engineering (e.g., public buildings, residential houses, bridges, roads, sewerage, and utility lines) Creating digital models and plans in tunnel construction (e.g., road and rail tunnels, adits) Collaborating with civil engineers and supporting construction inspections Field assignments in cooperation with surveying Construction site internship of at least 2 weeks, at the earliest in the 4th semester For the apprenticeship, you preferably bring the following profile: Completed primary school (Sek A or good Sek B) Interests / strengths in geometry, mathematics, and physics Enjoyment of technical drawing and precise working Good spatial perception Basic computer skills and interest in technology We offer an exciting and versatile apprenticeship, in a very easily accessible location, with modern employment conditions in a collegial and helpful team.
