Your contribution

• Perform multiskilled maintenance work on bridge systems and other engineering material
• Fabricate parts, custom-made items, and mechanical devices as well as prepare technical documentation
• Work on and maintain military equipment used for operations and training made of synthetic materials, metal, and wood
• Advise, accompany, and supervise customers (troops and third parties) during deliveries and returns regarding road safety, accident prevention, maintenance, cleaning, and vehicle inventory
• Document work performed, ensure quality controls, and contribute to compliance with safety regulations

What distinguishes you

• Completed vocational training as a polymechanic AFC, agricultural machinery mechanic AFC, construction machinery mechanic AFC, or equivalent mechanical training
• Professional experience in mechanical fabrication and maintenance, ideally in the sector of machinery, plants, or military material
• Good knowledge in processing synthetic materials, in particular polyester and glass fiber reinforced plastics (GFRP), as well as experience in metal and wood processing and the use of conventional machines
• Autonomous, structured, and quality-oriented way of working, manual dexterity, and good technical understanding
• Ability to work in a team, reliability, and flexibility, as well as willingness to operate in a multiskilled manner in various specialist areas
• Oral and written knowledge of a second official language and pleasure in contacting customers (troops and third parties)

In this function, you will work on diversified systems in the engineering material and bridge sector, focusing in particular on work with polyester and glass fiber reinforced plastics (GFRP). You will combine manual skills and mechanical activities and will be primarily responsible for professional maintenance.
