Pro Senectute is the largest private organization in Switzerland in the service of older people. As a modern nonprofit organization, we actively promote and support the independence and quality of life of seniors with numerous services in the areas of counseling and finance, assistance at home, as well as in the education and sports sectors.

Due to succession planning, we are looking for the Lachen location as of December 2026 or January 2027

Clerk - Focus on Intake and Social Affairs ##

A team of three clerks shares the arising tasks from initial contact and triage to recording via software and further processing in the various specialist departments. To specifically support the social workers, the following tasks arise:

• You are the first contact person for new clients of the social counseling, whether by telephone, counter, or via e-mail (conducting intake)
• You support our social workers with administrative tasks, e.g., preparation of financing requests, requests for tax waivers for the clientele
• You are part of the clerical team, which supports each other with general tasks such as incoming mail, counter and telephone service, etc.
• Employment according to the Personnel and Salary Ordinance of the Canton of Schwyz

• Good skills in solving complex tasks
• Incoming telephone calls do not disturb your peace alongside daily work
• Respectful, patient and empathetic communication on the telephone with clients

You bring with you ###

• Commercial training
• Knowledge of social insurance law, preferably with specialist further training
• Experience in clerical work is an advantage
• Very good and confident handling of IT applications (Office, MS 365, Geras)
• Entrepreneurial thinking and acting
