The tension between forensics and natural idyll: Use your psychotherapeutic expertise in a highly structured environment in the beautiful Bieler Seeland and bring mandate and responsibility into balance. The Massnahmenzentrum St. Johannsen is a therapeutic center for adult male offenders with mental disorders and/or dependency issues.

Your tasks:
Case management: You take on the psychotherapeutic case responsibility for our clients
Interdisciplinarity: You work in close exchange within the multidisciplinary team of the inpatient enforcement of measures
Therapy & Diagnostics: You design individual treatment plans and implement forensic-therapeutic measures

Your profile:
Education: Completed studies in clinical psychology as well as completed or advanced psychotherapy training
Professional competence: Knowledge and experience in forensic psychology/psychotherapy or a strong interest in working your way into this field
Way of working: High psychological resilience, a structured way of working, and strong teamwork skills for interdisciplinary collaboration
Languages: Very good German skills; French skills are very desirable in the bilingual Canton of Bern

About the Amt für Justizvollzug

The Amt für Justizvollzug (AJV) is responsible for the open and closed enforcement of sentences and measures for adults and youths within the Sicherheitsdirektion of the Canton of Bern (SID) with around 1000 employees. To fulfill this task, the office has at its disposal four concordat correctional facilities, four regional prisons, the detention station at the Inselspital, the detention management center, as well as the probation and enforcement services.
