RSI

RSI, Radiotelevisione svizzera di lingua italiana, is a public service broadcaster whose mandate is established by the Federal Constitution, the Federal Act on Radio and Television (LRTV), and the Concession. Independent, it is a pillar of the Swiss media landscape, as it plays a fundamental role in promoting open dialogue and disseminating accurate information. Thanks to a wide range of radio, television, and digital programs, RSI offers a universal service in the media field, reaching and informing the population extensively. This function is essential both for democracy and to ensure that the Swiss public is constantly updated and informed, with coverage ranging from politics to culture, from economy to entertainment, from sport to education. RSI provides an accurate picture of Swiss reality on a national, linguistic, and regional scale, facilitating dialogue and exchange between the linguistic regions of Switzerland.

• Collaboration in the management and development of the social presence of Rete Uno and Rete Tre.
• Ideation and production of digital content based on radio programs.
• Creation of reels, stories, carousels, and other original content for Instagram and other digital channels.
• Carrying out video filming with smartphones during broadcasts, interviews, events, and external productions.
• Editing and adapting content for different social formats and platforms.
• Researching innovative ideas, languages, and formats to enhance the content of the two networks.

IS IT YOU? ####

• Are you attending university (or an equivalent school) or have you finished at most one year ago?
• Are you interested in the world of radio, social media, and digital content creation?
• Do you know the radio, television, and digital offering of RSI and, in particular, that of Rete Uno and Rete Tre?
• Do you use social media daily and know its languages, dynamics, and trends?
• Do you follow current events, culture, music, and events in Italian-speaking Switzerland?
• Can you identify and enhance the most interesting content by transforming it into effective formats for social media?
• Do you have good writing skills and know how to create short texts, titles, and copy suitable for different digital channels?
• Can you adapt content and languages to different social platforms?
• Do you have experience in smartphone filming and in using video editing tools?
• Do you have an excellent command of written and spoken Italian and know at least one other national language?
• Do you have good knowledge of the Swiss territory and general culture?

What we offer ####

This internship offers the opportunity to enter the heart of the activities of Rete Uno and Rete Tre, participating in the creation of content destined for digital and social platforms. During the process, it will be possible to closely follow radio programs, events, and special productions, collaborating with presenters, editorial teams, and digital communication professionals. Progressively, it will be possible to acquire autonomy in content ideation, filming, video editing, and the adaptation of formats to different social channels, always with the support and supervision of the team. The internship will also allow for deepening the languages of digital communication, understanding the dynamics of a radio newsroom, and contributing to the development of the social identity of the two networks. A complete training experience for those who wish to approach the world of radio, digital storytelling, and the production of content designed for new ways of media consumption.
