This is the contribution you can make • The focus of the activity lies in federal administrative law, particularly in the area of the Federal Act on Freedom of Information • You are the contact person in SECO for questions related to the Federal Act on Freedom of Information (BGÖ) and provide procedural support and legal advice; predominantly in French and partially in German • Another focus of your activity lies in the conduct of administrative criminal proceedings in the French language in the embargo area in the event of violations of economic sanctions. Specifically affected are coercive measures against the movement of goods. In doing so, you carry out investigations, conduct interrogations, redact decisions, final protocols, penal orders/decisions and provide legal advice • You also provide advice on administrative and contractual law aspects (international law, public and private law treaties). You redact decisions or support the line in the issuance of such and accompany appeal proceedings before courts • Furthermore, you accompany and support legislation projects within the competence area of the office • Furthermore, you redact criminal complaints/applications, e.g., in the event of violations of the StGB, and accompany criminal proceedings before courts What makes you unique • University degree in law (Master), preferably with a bar admission and/or experience in the mentioned legal areas; with an interest in economic law issues • Interdisciplinary thinking and a sense for economic contexts • Ability to work in a team, independent working and initiative • Rapid comprehension, resilience and composure even under time pressure • Mastery of an official language as well as very good oral and written knowledge of a second official language What we offer • Working for Switzerland We are committed to the Swiss success model and work for the welfare of the population. • Lived diversity Thanks to equal opportunities, we develop our competencies and bring in different perspectives. • Healthy at the workplace We support and advise our employees in the area of physical and mental health.
