Responsibilities

• Deputizing for and providing professional support to the Head of Financial Accounting
• Independent management of the general ledger and fixed asset accounting
• Participation in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements according to OR and Swiss GAAP FER
• Preparation and creation of VAT returns as well as support with tax declarations
• Preparation and creation of evaluations and analyses as a basis for decision-making
• Participation in various financial projects as well as in the optimization and further development of processes and workflows
• Active cooperation with internal and external contact persons as well as contributing to a professional and service-oriented finance organization
• Taking on responsibility and providing professional support within the team

Requirements

• Completed commercial basic training with corresponding further training to the federal diploma of higher education in finance and accounting
• Several years of professional experience in financial accounting as well as experience in independently managing accounting
• Good knowledge in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements; proficiency in closing according to OR is required
• Knowledge of Swiss GAAP FER is an advantage
• Experience in the area of corporate consolidation is desirable
• Proficient use of ERP systems (Opale desirable) as well as very good user knowledge in MS Office, especially Excel
• Very good oral and written German skills
• Analytical, structured and solution-oriented way of working as well as a high degree of personal responsibility and reliability
• Enjoyment of collaboration, strong communication skills and the willingness to take on responsibility and provide professional support to others
