Social Worker 60% ##

Responsibilities ###

• Case management and counseling of asylum seekers and refugees in the area of economic and personal assistance
• Administration of economic social assistance and asylum welfare according to SKOS guidelines as well as cantonal requirements
• Coordinating, clarifying, and forwarding to specialized professional agencies in the case of problems outside of one's own responsibility
• Developing and implementing measures for professional and social integration
• Complete and correct dossier management in the case management tool
• First point of contact for support during the initial integration of clients (language, housing search, culture, work, etc.)

Profile ###

• Completed training in Social Work FH or equivalent training
• Preferably relevant professional experience, ideally in social assistance, asylum welfare, or integration
• Ability to cooperate and work in a team
• Empathy and sensitivity in dealing with people from different backgrounds
• Independent way of working, initiative
• Advisory and high social competence, confident appearance, and assertiveness
• Basic and user knowledge of MS Office applications
• Impeccable reputation (no entries in the debt enforcement and criminal registers)
• German | oral: C1 | written: C1
• English | oral: B2 | written: B2
• Other asylum-relevant language (advantageous) | oral: B2 | written: B2
