From our competence center in Samstagern ZH as well as the locations Schänis SG and Morgarten ZG, we advise architects, general contractors, clients and companies throughout Switzerland.

Our Doors + Gates department is growing strongly – for the overall responsibility, we are looking for an experienced leader as:

Head of Division Doors + Gates (f/m/d)

100 % | Samstagern | Immediately or by arrangement

What are your tasks?

You bear the overall responsibility for revenue, results and quality of the Doors + Gates department with around 25 employees – and create the structures so that your team can manage the growth.

Leadership and management:

• Personnel and professional leadership of the department (Sales, AVOR, assembly planning, assembly & service)
• Direct management of sales and internal service: prioritization of inquiries, offer and order processing
• Management of service & repair and assembly, via the leaders (Chief Fitter and Service Manager)
• Capacity and resource planning including subcontractors, recruitment and team building
• Establishing and further developing clear processes and responsibilities from inquiry to installation
• Budget and result responsibility, key figures and reporting to the management

Sales and projects:

• Support of key customers and management of larger projects
• Participation in large-scale projects, complex offers and important decisions of the sales team
• Market development with architects, general contractors, clients
• Marketing measures such as direct marketing, digital marketing and trade fairs – in close cooperation with our marketing department

Development:

• Division strategy together with the management – new sales areas, services and products
• Process optimization and further development of ERP usage (Abacus) with our ERP/IT team
• Maintenance of the partnership with Hörmann together with the management

When are you a good fit for us?

• At least 5 years of leadership experience with teams of 10 or more people
• Experience in sales and in project management in the facility and industrial business, e.g. construction trades, building technology or metal construction
• Entrepreneurial thinking – budget, margin and capacity are leadership instruments for you
• Experience in the establishment and optimization of processes in an SME
• Technical basic training with further education (e.g. Techniker:in HF, business administration, leadership) or equivalent
• You are present, decisive and close to your people – without losing pace and overview
• Confident German in spoken and written form
• Knowledge of gates, doors and drives as well as Abacus experience is an advantage
