Industrial vision at Mikron inspires itself by integrating the latest technical developments in the field, from both a hardware and software perspective. The Vision Engineer therefore plays a central role in ensuring the quality of components and assembly on our lines. From feasibility evaluation to customer support, including the design, commissioning, and qualification of vision systems, he/she intervenes throughout the entire project cycle to guarantee reliable, high-performance solutions that comply with customer requirements.

Main responsibilities

• Perform feasibility evaluations and tests resulting from requests for quotation
• Carry out the design of vision systems according to specifications, at the optical, hardware, and software levels
• Program algorithms to meet customer specifications
• Commission and qualify vision systems according to specifications up to the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT)
• Ensure the implementation of corrections with the help of the relevant services
• Ensure correct and complete documentation of the final state of the systems (optics, software, parameters, and configuration)
• Ensure the execution of these activities in compliance with the project workflow (DP ENGS), defined deadlines, and costs
• Participate in the team's scrum events. Plan and monitor tasks in our scrum tool (DevOPS)
• Provide training for our customers
• Service intervention in our branches, at our customers' sites, or via video conference (setup, external acceptance, troubleshooting)

Profile

• Bachelor or master in computer science and communication systems, microtechnology, or training deemed equivalent 3 to 5 years of experience in industrial vision and image processing in the field of automation
• Knowledge of Cognex or Keyence products is a plus.
• Flexibility and availability for travel to our customers or other group sites (10-20%).
• Very good knowledge of French and English is indispensable.
