The Social and Peer Counseling service area provides comprehensive support to people with spinal cord injuries in all regional areas of the country. The consultations take place at our location in Nottwil, partly in clinics, at the clients' homes, or by telephone. We provide advice on questions regarding social insurance, finances, living situation, employment, or personal topics.

To expand our Social Work team, we are looking for an empathetic and professionally skilled personality.

These are your tasks

• Psychosocial counseling and support for people with a spinal cord injury or similar diagnoses, as well as their relatives
• Clarification of entitlements in the area of social insurance and ensuring the economic basis of existence
• Support in the creation and submission of applications to social insurance providers and foundations
• Accompanying people in challenging life situations and processes of change (e.g., professional reorientation, separation, transition to AHV age)
• Promoting the autonomy of the clients
• Interdisciplinary cooperation with involved agencies and partner organizations
• Writing specialist articles for our own media

This characterizes you

• You have completed training in Social Work FH/BSC with corresponding professional experience
• You bring sound knowledge in the area of social insurance
• You organize your work flexibly and independently - also in private settings at your clients' homes
• You like to contribute your knowledge and experience to projects
• Your German is stylistically confident, French and/or English skills are an advantage
• You appreciate working in an interdisciplinary team
