Head of Cyber Defense Center Permanent position Organisation und Informatik The Cyber Defense Center (CDC) is the central security facility that takes care of the protection of the data & IT infrastructure of the Stadt Zürich. The diverse tasks require constant adaptation to the changing threat landscape and the implementation of new technologies. Current tactics may work today, but may no longer be relevant tomorrow. For the management and further development of our team, we are looking for a competent personality effective immediately or by arrangement. Tasks You bear the overall responsibility for the municipal CDC with the disciplines Security Development and Security Operations, develop it strategically, and create an inspiring environment in which employees can develop their potential. Together with your team in the area of Security Development, you ensure comprehensive engineering and consulting. This includes the maintenance and further development of the tools and processes used (e.g., Use Case Engineering, Exposure Management, Threat Modeling as well as the automation of detection and response mechanisms) as well as corresponding consulting services. Together with your team in the area of Security Operations, you are responsible for the detection, analysis, and reaction to cyber incidents. Tasks include Threat Analysis, Threat Hunting, Threat Intelligence, Forensics, Exposure Management, Purple Teaming, MSSP Management, Hacking Demos, etc. You support the decentralized specialist ITs of the Stadt Zürich in the area of Cyber Security together with your team. You lead integration projects. You are the Single Point of Contact for the operative Cyber Security Management in the Stadt Zürich. Profile Proven leadership experience Persuasiveness as well as strong communication and mediation skills at various hierarchical levels Several years of practical experience in Cyber Security Development and Security Consulting University degree in Informatik ideally with a specialization in Cyber Security or adequate vocational training High commitment, endurance, and resilience as well as an independent and solution-oriented way of working characterize you.
