Ärztekasse is renewing its entire data center as well as the products affected by this transformation. To support this stage of digitization, we are looking for intelligent and experienced engineers to contribute to and shape clever and creative solutions for a meaningful sector. Reliability Engineer Site (SRE) (m/f) Working hours: 80-100% Start: immediately or by agreement Duration: indefinite Location: Geneva region (Thônex) or Zurich region (Urdorf) Main tasks • Operate our Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability and reliability • Diagnose and resolve system problems, ensuring minimal downtime • Automate processes and apply infrastructure as code via GitOps • Improve and manage monitoring tools, including Mimir, Loki and Grafana, for system health checks • Collaborate with development to ensure a true shift-left • Implement best security practices on our technology stack • Supervise and train junior team members in SRE best practices • Participate in future on-call rotation Requirements • At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in SRE or DevOps • Solid experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration • Advanced skills in scripting and automation, preferably in Bash, Go or Python • Good understanding of monitoring tools such as Mimir, Loki and Grafana • Familiarity with our technology stack is a plus: Flux, Cilium, Istio, Kyverno, Vault, etc. • Experience with databases, PostgreSQL is a plus • Autonomous, analytical and comfortable in a dynamic environment • Excellent communication skills in English; German and French are a plus Additional information A stimulating environment helps to find ingenious solutions to complex and demanding requirements.
