What do you have to do? As a polymechanic, you manufacture workpieces and set up production. You assemble apparatus, devices, machines, and systems. You participate in commissioning, in monitoring and planning production processes, or carry out maintenance work. You process workpieces on machine tools such as turning, drilling, milling, and grinding machines. Working on computer-controlled machines such as CNC turning machines is also part of your daily tasks.
