Your typical day ##

• You are responsible for complete order processing, order confirmations, deadline and cost monitoring, invoice control, as well as the complaint management system
• You evaluate, qualify, and validate suppliers as well as goods and services such as licenses, service contracts, packaging, chemicals, C-parts (screws, etc.)
• You support the specialist departments in Switzerland and abroad in searching for new procurement sources and markets, taking into account economic, environmental as well as health and qualitative aspects
• Conducting price negotiations, drafting framework agreements, and independently managing process and cost optimization projects (Lean principles) also bring you joy
• Participation in work and project groups (cost and process optimizations) as well as ensuring master data maintenance are also part of your activities

Your profile ##

• Technical or commercial basic training, ideally with further training as an Einkaufsfachmann/-frau (Purchasing Specialist) or currently in training for it
• You have at least 2-3 years of operational purchasing experience, ideally in indirect procurement with a high affinity for technical equipment and goods
• You are communicative, responsible, and persistent, enjoy taking new paths, and enjoy new challenges just as much as administrative tasks
• Using an ERP system, such as SAP (MM), is easy for you and you are generally interested in modern tools
• You communicate effortlessly in German and English; French or other languages would be an advantage
