Nursing Specialist Outpatient Sector

The Medicine Department Heart/Vascular unites the Cardiology, Angiology, and Heart/Vascular Surgery clinics. Patients with vascular diseases are assigned to the Interdisziplinäre Zentrum für vaskuläre Interventionen (IZI) for diagnostics and treatment and are treated together by interventional vascular specialists. We offer the full spectrum of non-cardiological, peripheral vascular interventions in a 24-hour service. What to expect <br /> • Preparation of patients for the various interdisciplinary interventions • Caring for and monitoring patients before, during, and after interventions • Sterile assistance to the medical staff during the intervention incl. coordination • Taking on emergency on-call service (on average five times monthly) • Analyzing complex patient situations and providing support and advice to team members on nursing specialist issues • Ensuring nursing quality in an interdisciplinary department in cooperation with the nursing specialists <br /> What you bring with you <br /> • Diploma in nursing, supplemented with a nursing-specific qualification CAS, DAS • At least one year of professional experience, preferably in an acute care hospital • High social competence and good communication skills • Skill and enjoyment in handling medical devices • Committed, flexible, and resilient personality with an independent and team-oriented way of working <br /> Our offer <br /> • Exciting, demanding, and very diverse area of responsibility • Regular working hours from Monday to Friday (outside of on-call service) • State-of-the-art infrastructure • Workplace in the heart of Bern • Company-owned daycare center on the Inselareal <br /> Questions about the position?
