The tasks

• Declaration of import clearances and export clearances
• Checking customs-relevant customer information and orders
• Support and advice for customers including complaint processing
• Negotiation and communication with the customs authorities in compliance with customs guidelines
• Registration and deregistration of transports
• Creation of transit documents including process monitoring
• Calculation of duties as well as development of key figures and statistics
• Definition and optimization of processes and workflows in customs matters
• Advice and implementation of complex customer projects for the customs area
• General administrative tasks
• Working in staggered daily operations until – 17:30

The profile

• Completed training as a freight forwarding agent or customs declarant
• Completed specialist courses in the customs field
• Several years of professional experience as a customs declarant mandatory
• Experience with the customs system almostlogistics is an advantage
• Good German and English skills in spoken and written form
• Independent and goal-oriented way of working as well as strong customer and service orientation
• Communication strength, reliability, flexibility and team spirit
