What you achieve

• You take on a wide range of tasks in the Server & Storage Team and are co-responsible for the further development and operation in the topics Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Red Hat OpenShift, virtualization, the server, storage & SAN infrastructure as well as backup & recovery.
• The engineering and operation of the Linux, storage & SAN infrastructure form your main focus.
• With your know-how and networked thinking, you take an active role in various IT (sub-)projects.
• You quickly familiarize yourself with new subject areas and technologies and enjoy helping to shape innovations.

What you bring

• An IT education with a focus on systems engineering (EFZ, HF, FH) as well as certifications is an advantage.
• Several years of professional experience as a System Engineer in the specialist topics listed above, especially Linux, qualify you for this role.
• You have the willingness and motivation to take on a responsible role in systems engineering.
• Enjoyment of the agile way of working (SAFe), a communicative, independent and team-oriented personality, flexibility and commitment to sporadic extraordinary work assignments (no periodic on-call duty) characterize you.
• You bring hands-on scripting skills and enjoy automation.
