Experienced Specialist in Bank and Securities Firm Authorizations (m/f/d)

FINMA is responsible for the supervision of the Swiss financial market. It protects creditors, investors, and the insured, and ensures the proper functioning of the financial markets. In doing so, it contributes to improving the reputation, competitiveness, and viability of the Swiss financial center. Main tasks

• Autonomous processing of changes to authorization conditions concerning banks (in particular changes in governing bodies, adaptations of regulations, and restructurings).
• Interlocutor for supervised entities, legal representatives, audit firms, and foreign supervisory authorities.
• Examination of interesting legal issues related to corporate governance.
• Close collaboration with the supervision areas and transversal functions of FINMA.

Required profile

• Completed university education in law or economics. A complementary qualification, such as a bar exam or an LLM, is an asset.
• Several years of experience in the field of financial market law within a bank, an audit firm, an authority, or a law firm.
• Developed analytical and judgment skills, as well as autonomous case management.
• Excellent communication and persuasion skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Very good knowledge of the French language (C2) and good knowledge of German and English (B1).
