Project Manager Industry (m/f/d), 100% for the German-speaking Switzerland region

Introduction

For an internationally active, growing company in the construction supply industry, we are looking for a qualified personality as part of an exclusive mandate. The company operates 40 specialized production plants worldwide and is represented with over 100 of its own sales locations in more than 40 countries, as well as through sales partners in over 50 other countries.

As an innovative family business with over 6,000 employees, an annual turnover of over one billion Euro is generated. At the Swiss location in the Solothurn region, around 175 employees are employed - a Project Manager Industry for German-speaking Switzerland is now being sought here to strengthen the team.

Tasks

• Independent project management of objects and direct business in the field of gates and loading technology, including dimensional measurement, technical clarification, ordering, cost control, and invoicing
• Negotiations with clients, subcontractors, and planning offices
• Calculation and sale of objects where necessary
• Order processing from the order to the invoicing
• Responsibility for proper acceptance including documentation and instruction, as well as independent processing of complaints
• Construction site coordination and planning of objects, assemblies, and transports; support and coordination of assembly teams and acceptances
• Participation in assembly and product training as well as topping-out ceremonies and inaugurations

Profile

• Completed basic training in the construction or construction-related industry (e.g., metalworker, locksmith, drafter EFZ) including commercial further training
• Commercial further training such as Technical Clerk, Business School, Higher Diploma in Business, further training as a Project Manager or similar
• Several years of professional experience and/or further training in project management in the construction or construction-related industry, preferably in the gate industry
• Knowledge in electrical engineering
• Good spatial awareness and technical understanding
• Very good German language skills
• Perseverance and high resilience
• Very good user knowledge in the areas of SAP and MS-Office
• Resident in the Solothurn region or adjacent cantons
