EHS Specialist Engineer

EHS Specialist Engineer BOBST Mex SA is looking for an EHS (Environment, Health and Safety) Specialist Engineer to become a key player in field prevention. You will play a central role in developing and strengthening the EHS culture within the assembly and logistics teams. Working in close collaboration with managers and employees, you will contribute to defining and deploying concrete and effective prevention measures, while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Your mission You will advise and support teams regarding occupational safety and environment for the assembly and supply chain sectors, while actively participating in the EHS management system. You report directly to the EHS Engineer. Your responsibilities Accident prevention Conduct risk analyses Investigate incidents and accidents Train and raise awareness among employees regarding safety Deploy communication actions in prevention Participate in safety improvement projects Environmental protection Investigate environmental incidents Raise awareness among teams Optimize waste management and propose improvements Protection of lone workers Define and maintain risk analysis processes Collaborate with the occupational health service Manage protection devices and their monitoring Certifications & management system Participate in ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 management Follow up on actions resulting from audits Prepare for external audits Maintain system documentation Support & steering Advise department managers on EHS topics Monitor and communicate KPIs Participate in team routines Ensure your continuous development (OQual) Your profile Education Engineering degree in a technical field (mechanical, electrical, logistics, chemistry) or equivalent STPS Specialist or Expert (or mandatory equivalent according to level) Experience Minimum 5 years of experience in EHS in an industrial environment (ideally mechanical) Technical skills Mastery of the ISO 45001 standard Good knowledge of the ISO 14001 standard Proficiency with MS Office tools Languages Fluent French Good level of English and/or German Personal skills Excellent writing skills Field sense, pragmatism and solution orientation Ability to influence and persuade Autonomy and team spirit Do you want to have a key role with a direct impact on safety and the environment at one of the largest industrial sites in Suisse Romande?
