Hamilton Storage develops, produces and distributes robots for the storage of up to ten million chemical substances for pharmaceutical companies. Additionally, we produce robots for the storage of biological samples at -80 degrees Celsius, which are used in biobanks for clinical research purposes.

What you can achieve:

After being introduced to the basics of our products, our development tools and the internal processes, you will test and improve electromechanical components and functions for custom-made systems and serial products within a development team.

You will ensure that the systems meet our standards regarding quality and cost and will be in close contact with internal and external suppliers and customers.

Your main tasks include:

• Driving product optimizations of biobanking systems to meet constantly changing market needs
• Developing, procuring, testing and documenting new electromechanical assemblies according to the Hamilton innovation process in an interdisciplinary project team
• Creation of requirement, testing and project documentation for improved modules in English
• Conducting simulations and evaluating measurement data as well as deriving well-founded conclusions
• Creating and improving installation, manufacturing and service documentation
• Leading technical discussions with internal and external suppliers and customers
• Ensuring product quality as well as cost and manufacturing goals according to our high standards

What you bring with you:

• Engineering degree (BSc/MSc) in the field of mechanical engineering, systems engineering or a comparable technical discipline
• Experience with 3D-CAD software, preferably Creo Parametric
• Enthusiasm for robotics, automation technology and innovative technical solutions
• Creative and open personality with initiative and enjoyment of working in interdisciplinary teams
• Ability to analyze complex issues and present corresponding conclusions understandably to an interdisciplinary team and subsequently implement them efficiently
• Independent, reliable and structured way of working
• Good German and English skills
