What makes you unique

• University degree in law, ideally a bar admission
• Several years of professional experience, preferably at a cantonal court, in the legal profession or in public administration
• Knowledge and experience in administrative law, preferably in asylum law, as well as in administrative procedural law.
• Efficient way of working, decisiveness, ability to work in a team, flexibility and high social competence
• Leadership competence and resilience
• German as main language, very good knowledge of a second official language and, ideally, good passive knowledge of a third official language
• Swiss nationality

The Bundesverwaltungsgericht decides on appeals against decisions of federal authorities. In certain subject areas, the court is also responsible for reviewing cantonal decisions. Furthermore, it acts as a court of first instance in litigation proceedings.
