This is exactly where the Client Channels area comes in. The focus is on central digital and physical touchpoints between ZKB and its customers, which connect needs with technology, processes, user experience, security, and operations. This includes, among other things, eBanking, Mobile Banking, as well as digital opening, onboarding, and lifecycle processes.

Within Client Channels, interdisciplinary DevOps teams work on the development and further development of digital services along the central customer interfaces. The teams connect business and technology closely together and bear responsibility for their solutions throughout the entire lifecycle – from conception and development to stable operation. In doing so, the principle "You build it, you run it" applies consistently.

For one of the four interdisciplinary DevOps teams, we are looking for you as a Senior Java DevOps Engineer.

Your challenge

• You develop and operate business-critical digital services along central customer interfaces together with your team
• Your focus is on software engineering with Java, Spring, and JPA/Hibernate, as well as in the development of modern frontend solutions with TypeScript and Angular
• You take end-to-end ownership for your solutions – from technical conception through implementation to productive operation
• You develop robust, scalable, and maintainable software and sustainably ensure quality, security, and stability
• You actively help shape technical solution variants and work closely with software engineers, business engineers, product owners, and architects
• You analyze complex technical problems and incidents and derive sustainable improvements for applications and operational processes from them
• As a senior engineer, you actively bring your experience, best practices, and technical perspective into the team and contribute to a high engineering and DevOps quality

Your qualities and talents

• Sound education in computer science (HF, FH, university) or a comparable qualification with corresponding professional practice
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in software engineering
• Very good knowledge of Java, Spring, as well as JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience in the last three years in at least one of the areas: client onboarding, digital product closures, or client lifecycle management
• Independent, solution-oriented personality who takes technical responsibility and brings their know-how constructively into an interdisciplinary team
• Fluent German skills at least at C1 level
