Social worker Social worker – 100% (fixed-term contract of at least 6 months) Our recruitment firm, mandated by one of its clients, a recognized player in the Geneva medico-social sector, is looking for a Social worker as part of a fixed-term contract of at least 6 months at 100%. You will join an institution recognized for its commitment to the elderly and integrate into a dedicated multidisciplinary team, where human values, quality of support, and collaboration are at the heart of resident care. Your missions As a Social worker, you ensure global support for residents and their relatives, guaranteeing the securing of their social, administrative, and financial rights. In this capacity, you will notably be required to: Evaluate the social, administrative, and financial situations of residents in order to identify their needs, their resources, and potential risk factors. Individually support residents as well as their relatives, including in complex, sensitive, or crisis situations. Ensure procedures related to the maintenance and securing of social, financial, and administrative rights in collaboration with the competent organizations and the Geneva socio-sanitary network. Create, manage, and update administrative and social files, particularly in the context of applications for social benefits, financial aid, or adult protection measures. Collaborate with protection authorities, legal representatives, and various institutional partners to guarantee adapted support. Prevent situations of precariousness, isolation, or loss of rights by seeking adapted solutions. Work in close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams as well as administrative and accounting services to ensure coordinated care. Participate in the admission, stay, and discharge processes of residents by ensuring the continuity of their social support. Guarantee the quality, confidentiality, and traceability of interventions in compliance with the legal framework and professional secrecy. Contribute to the continuous improvement of practices and the sharing of information within the department. Your profile You are recognized for your listening skills, your rigor, and your ability to support human situations that are sometimes complex. You possess the following qualifications: Bachelor HES in Social Work (Social Service orientation) or equivalent recognized diploma. Minimum 5 years of successful experience in a similar function. Excellent command of French, both spoken and written. Experience in the medico-social sector or with the elderly is a real asset. Good knowledge of the Geneva socio-sanitary network. Solid knowledge of social insurance and adult protection systems. Mastery of complex administrative procedures. Good command of standard IT tools; knowledge of Sadies, Odoo and GestPlace is appreciated. Sense of organization, autonomy, and administrative rigor. Excellent interpersonal skills, team spirit, and ability to work in a network. Ability to analyze, prioritize, and manage emergency situations. Stress resistance and sense of responsibility.
