Job Description
The IT apprenticeship is possible with us in the two specializations "Application Development" and "Platform Development".

Application Development:
The versatile apprenticeship for curious tinkerers who enjoy constructing user-friendly software!
You will work actively as part of a team on exciting projects:
Planning, coding, testing and documenting applications with various programming languages, frameworks and architectures
Operating, maintaining and expanding existing applications
Planning, developing and maintaining automated deployment workflows for the provision of applications on server systems
Installing, configuring and monitoring server systems
Ensuring the security and availability of systems and services
Planning and leading projects in the field of application development

Platform Development:
The versatile apprenticeship for structured problem solvers who enjoy digital building!
In this apprenticeship, you ensure the smooth operation of the ICT infrastructure:
Planning, realizing and automating workflows and processes
Administrating servers and networks
Planning and operating server services and server systems
Participating in diverse projects

The training lasts 4 years, of which 1 year is basic training in our IT apprenticeship laboratory in Zürich-Oerlikon.

Profile
You are fascinated by computer science, like to think logically-abstractly and possess spatial imagination. You enjoy finding creative solutions and do not shy away from challenges. Your strong ability to concentrate as well as your systematic and structured way of working will take you further. In addition, you enjoy teamwork and customer contact.
You need an obligatory school leaving certificate for this apprenticeship and good performance in the following school subjects:
English
Mathematics
