For our client, an established Swiss trading company in Central Switzerland, we are looking for an experienced purchasing personality who brings negotiation skills, organizational talent, and enjoyment in collaboration.

Your tasks:

• Managing and further developing existing supplier relationships
• Obtaining and comparing offers as well as negotiating prices and conditions
• Ensuring timely procurement of goods
• Evaluating new products and suppliers
• Observing market trends and recognizing new procurement opportunities
• Close cooperation with internal departments and external partners
• Leading and supporting a small, well-coordinated purchasing team

Your profile:

• Commercial basic training and further training as a specialist in purchasing with federal diploma (eidg. Fachausweis) is an advantage
• Several years of professional experience in operational purchasing
• Initial leadership experience or enjoyment in taking on a team leadership function
• IT-savvy, especially good ERP knowledge as well as confident use of MS Office
• Very good German and good English skills
• Negotiation skills and strong organizational talent
• Independent, structured, and reliable way of working
• Communicative and team-oriented personality
