Vocational Training Officer, Nursing Residential Groups, 80 %

Tasks ##

• You are responsible for the training processes of apprentices and students from recruitment to the completion of vocational training in close cooperation with the vocational trainers in the residential groups.
• You help to continuously monitor and further develop the quality of vocational training.
• You conduct internal training for interns, apprentices, and students and participate in public relations work.
• You actively support the continuous review of the quality of vocational training and work on the further development of company training plans and concepts.
• Together with nursing leaders, vocational trainers, and existing staff, you help ensure learning-promoting training structures in the departments and residential areas and coach the vocational trainers in their area.

Profile ##

• Several years of experience in vocational training as well as in the development and implementation of training strategies
• Completed training as a certified nursing professional HF/FH with several years of professional experience and SRK recognition for diplomas from abroad
• Vocational pedagogical training such as the federal certificate of proficiency as an instructor (eidg. Ausbildner*in) or equivalent knowledge
• Sound, evidence-based nursing specialist knowledge and the motivation to further develop this within the framework of the nursing residential groups from a vocational training perspective
• Sound knowledge in the area of the Swiss education system in healthcare

The annual salary for this function lies between Fr. 102-263.- and Fr. 136-644.- (100%) depending on experience.

The Gesundheitszentren für das Alter der Stadt Zürich are one of the largest geriatric institutions in Switzerland. We are the leading service provider in the elderly and nursing sector - with competence, heart, and a comprehensive range of services from a single source.

Our nine nursing residential groups (PWG) at currently six locations offer people with dementia or a psychiatric illness a manageable and homely environment. The small units with eight to eleven places are embedded in settlements of the respective neighborhoods and enable comprehensive nursing and care in a setting that is as close to everyday life as possible. Cooking together, eating, and shaping everyday life is part of living in the nursing residential groups - as close as possible to familiar life at home and tailored to individual needs.
