We are looking for a personality who is strong in planning and communication, enjoys diving deep into internal processes, manages projects technically, and acts as a diplomatic bridge builder.

Project Coordinator Retrofit / Mechanical Engineering (w/m/d)

Your tasks:

• Independent commercial and technical processing of demanding retrofit projects (upgrades and complex conversions of existing systems)
• Active and profound interface function: You ensure clean, structured communication and seamless technical clarification with all internal specialist departments (design, production, assembly)
• Calculation, preparation of offers, and proactive advice to the worldwide clientele regarding optimal retrofit solutions
• Technical management of projects from the first inquiry through to the feasibility study and to successful delivery

Qualifications

Your profile:

• Technical basic training from mechanical engineering (mandatory as a polymechanic, designer, or automation technician/electromechanic)
• A completed commercial or process-oriented further education (e.g., as a Technical Merchant or Process Specialist) is a great advantage
• Established professional experience from mechanical or plant engineering as well as strong know-how in reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Pronounced diplomatic skill, much empathy, and assertiveness to constructively bring specialist departments to the table and prevent misunderstandings
• You are a doer and a planner, but in this role explicitly seek technical project management and not employee leadership
• Very secure communication in German and English (French is a big plus)
