Do you want to not only manage controlling but also actively develop it? Do you think in numbers and relationships and at the same time have a sense for data, systems, and processes? Do you want to work close to the company, participate in changes and also get involved operationally? Then this position could suit you:

We are developing our controlling in a targeted manner: moving from reporting primarily focused on the past to prospective, data-based business management, and becoming an active business partner for our management. For this, we are looking for an entrepreneurial, tech-savvy, and implementation-oriented person.

Your exciting mission

• You assume global responsibility for planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and cost calculation
• You develop our business management with driver-based planning, scenarios, relevant indicators, and clear recommendations
• You evolve our sales, purchasing, customer, and margin control and create additional transparency on profitability and costs
• You advance BI, data models, and reporting processes and ensure a reliable database
• You identify relevant uses of AI in controlling and implement them pragmatically
• You actively accompany our transformation, notably during the replacement of the existing ERP solution as well as in BI and planning projects
• You lead and develop our controlling team professionally and personally and participate yourself operationally in central topics
• You are an economic exchange partner for management and departments and translate analyses into concrete recommendations

What you bring

• A solid education in business management, finance & controlling, management information systems, data analysis or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in controlling, financial planning and analysis, or performance management as well as experience in a senior, project manager, or management function
• Excellent knowledge in planning, forecasting, reporting, and cost calculation
• A deep understanding of ERP, BI, and data architectures as well as very good mastery of Excel and practical experience with BI solutions
• A strong analytical capacity, entrepreneurial thinking, and the ability to make complex relationships understandable
• Personal initiative, a taste for change, and a strong practical mentality
• Excellent command of German
