The Business Unit Operations produces parts for all Hamilton companies, from injection-molded parts to pipette tips for liquid handling, as well as metal and plastic parts. Our goal is to produce as many parts as possible in-house. This allows us to remain agile, independent, and efficient. What you can accomplish: • Co-responsibility for the management and development of the Sustainability field at Hamilton • Support for the strategic design of Hamilton's sustainable orientation and the development of internal sustainability guidelines • Autonomous planning, implementation, and monitoring of sustainability projects to anchor the sustainable orientation at Hamilton • Promotion of the CO2 emission reduction strategy in accordance with the Science-based Targets initiative and continuous monitoring of goal achievement • Participation in maintaining the environmental management system according to ISO 14001; interlocutor for audits • Thought partner and support for Hamilton companies on sustainability issues • Development and implementation of systems and indicators for the monitoring and reporting of sustainability reports and communication • Participation in the annual EcoVadis sustainability assessment What you bring: • Degree in the fields of sustainability management, environmental sciences, environmental management, or equivalent training in these fields • Several years of professional experience in the field of sustainability in a similar function • Passion for the theme of sustainability and strategic understanding of it • Ability to analyze complex situations, to design according to sustainability requirements, and to explain results in a manner adapted to the target audience • Sense of organization and experience in project management, including documentation • Great sense of responsibility and high stress resistance • Excellent written and oral skills in English and German (level C1/C2) Discover more professional opportunities at Hamilton on jobs.hamilton.ch.
