Our Legal, Regulatory & Compliance area continues to grow: In order to meet the rapidly increasing regulatory requirements and to drive strategic major topics forward in a focused manner, we are strengthening our Regulatory Compliance department. As part of this two-person senior expert team, you will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in this responsible function, away from daily business, accompany strategic and operative specifications, and support the continuous further development of our compliance framework.

Your tasks

• Central specialist contact point: You are the contact point for complex compliance issues and advise the bank competently and in a solution-oriented manner across a very diverse range of topics – from anti-money laundering to regulatory innovations and other special topics
• Consolidated supervision: You design, implement, and monitor the comprehensive compliance framework for the entire HBL Group within the framework of consolidated supervision
• Process analysis and optimization: You continuously analyze existing compliance processes, identify potential for optimization, and proactively develop our workflows further
• Professional lead in projects: You take on the professional lead in compliance projects and ensure regulatory compliance during the introduction of new processes
• Regulatory monitoring: You proactively scan the regulatory landscape, analyze new laws and ordinances, and derive measures for the bank from them

What you bring

• Education: Completed studies in law or in business law
• Experience: Several years of sound professional experience as a Compliance Officer in the Swiss banking context
• Specialist knowledge: Broad, versatile knowledge of Swiss banking and supervisory law as well as experience in the area of consolidated supervision (group compliance)
• Mindset: You convince through strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as a pragmatic, solution-oriented way of thinking. You translate complex regulatory requirements into practical and effective solutions
• Way of working: Initiative, independence, as well as a high sense of quality and responsibility
• Languages: Excellent German skills in speaking and writing; good English skills round off your profile
