General Manager

As General Manager, you will be the ambassador of the brand and the property. Your leadership, your excellent interpersonal skills, and your strong business sense will allow you to motivate a committed team, ensure customer satisfaction, and optimize operational results. The role: Be the captain: lead, inspire, and develop a versatile team to offer excellence in service. Manage results: assume full responsibility for the profit and loss (P&L), manage budgets, and achieve turnover and operating margin objectives. Develop the business: play an active role in the development of RevPar. Plan and implement commercial initiatives to generate new sources of income. Establish strong links with local companies, suppliers, and event organizers in order to build customer loyalty and secure contracts. Local roots: represent the property among the economic, institutional, and administrative actors of the region. Maintain excellence: ensure the prestige of the hotel by respecting cantonal and brand regulations regarding safety and hygiene. The customer first: be present and proactive to ensure that every customer leaves with a smile, thereby contributing to maintaining high satisfaction standards (RPS) Essential qualifications and skills: Proven experience in hotel management (Director or Deputy Director with proven experience), ideally within the Accor chain. Entrepreneurial spirit and result orientation. Great ability to integrate into the economic, social, and political fabric of Locarno. Excellent ability to motivate, train on the job, and accompany employees in their professional growth. Great sensitivity towards the customer experience and towards all aspects related to service quality. Hold a valid Swiss manager/operator diploma in the Canton of Ticino. Other required skills and requirements: Excellent command of Italian and German. Good knowledge of French and English (B1 level). Good command of specific IT tools in our sector (Opera) and Microsoft (Excel, PowerPoint). Be domiciled in the Canton of Ticino or transfer your domicile there at the latest at the end of the probationary period, preferably in the Sopraceneri region.
