• Define directives concerning fire protection equipment, operational vehicles of the Operational Vehicle Management, as well as materials for fire protection
• Actively accompany procurement processes and manage them from the perspective of benefit recipients
• Carry out fire protection inspections and verify the defined measures
• Provide advice and instruction to specialized bodies in the construction sector, plant personnel and the troops in the field of preventive and defensive fire protection
• Test and adequately evaluate new intervention and firefighting systems
• Prepare, present and implement the topics of the DDPS specialized fire protection service for the advancement and specialist reports of the operational firefighter officers (pomp eser)

What distinguishes you

• Completed basic commercial or technical training
• Advanced training in the field of business administration
• Additional training as a fire protection expert with a professional certificate
• Swiss CSP firefighter instructor diploma (basic and respiratory protection)
• Experience as a course manager and instructor
• Good writing skills and oral and written knowledge of a second official language
