Genre Manager «National Information Offering» Operations 80-100%, free place of work - you work mainly in Bern and travel frequently in the different regions.

The SSR Operations domain is responsible for the central strategic management of technological orientation and production of the SSR. The F4 genre manager ensures the operational and qualitative implementation of the offerings of one or more genres, under the operational direction of the Operations Business Partner.

As the genre manager «National Information Offering», you are the central liaison point between the Operations domain and the regional Information genre managers in the regions: you plan national-scale information offerings jointly with the regions and guarantee the efficiency of their production. You have an overview of the entire portfolio of offerings - including the partial portfolio Studio Palais fédéral, the operation of which is ensured by the operational production managers on site.

Your mission ####

Within the Business Partner Operations team, you commit to the following themes:

• Joint planning of national-scale information offerings with the regional Information genre managers of the regions: you gather needs, resources, and production means across linguistic regions (audio, video, digital)
• Building and maintaining the network with the Business Partners and the genre managers in the regions, with a regular presence in the field and an induction period including stays of several days, or even a week, in the regions
• Anticipation of manufacturing needs - from major events, elections, and votes to extraordinary situations - and early detection of adaptations to be made to the portfolio of offerings
• Supra-operational steering of production services and production processes coordinated with each other; daily operation is the responsibility of the operational production managers, whom you make professionally autonomous
• Responsibility for the efficient use of resources within the defined budget framework as well as for achieving the defined efficiency objectives, while respecting service, production, safety, and quality standards - jointly with the People Pool, the PMM and Operations Steering
• Active culture of feedback and exchange, and management of the KPI dashboard as a common steering base with the regions

Your profile ####

• Team spirit and several years of practical experience in the manufacturing of audiovisual offerings
• German and French at a professional level, imperative condition: one of the two languages is your mother tongue, the other is mastered at least at level B2. Italian and/or Romansh constitute an important asset
• Solid networking and relationship skills across organizational and linguistic borders, high availability to travel as well as a concept of remote leadership
• Entrepreneurial spirit, combined with the ability to see the big picture and to act in a creative, persevering, and pragmatic manner
• High resistance to stress and availability to work according to irregular schedules, including weekends
• Excellent communication skills, strong affinity with media-related technologies, sense of negotiation, and great ability to establish priorities
