L-EOC, the multisite hospital of Ticino, is present with its institutes throughout the entire cantonal territory for a total of 1'000 beds.

L-organization allows for the effective combination of a local approach and an overview, guaranteeing the population a global and local hospital offering, regardless of where the services are requested.

Thanks to the commitment and competence of the over 6-500 collaborators and their attention towards human relations, l-EOC ensures quality healthcare, taking care of over 41'000 inpatient patients per year and providing over 600'000 outpatient consultations.

To complete our Intensive Care service team at the Ospedale Regionale di Lugano, we are looking for a

Chief Physician (100%)

Profile:

The intensive care department of the Ospedale Regionale di Lugano is the only department in the Canton recognized by the ISFM as a category Au training center.

Indispensable requirements:

• degree/diploma in medicine and specialization in intensive care or equivalent title (for Italy -specialization in Anesthesia and Resuscitation-).

For doctors with foreign titles: mandatory recognition by the Federal Commission for Medical Professions MEBEKO and relative registration in MedReg is required before the start of activity

• proven knowledge of the Italian language
• (required level at least B2) with relative registration in MedReg before the start of activity, desired knowledge of other national languages and English
• work experience in intensive care departments
• autonomy in the care of the critical patient in the intensive care unit
• strong availability and propensity for teamwork
• constructive and proactive attitude
• mastery of IT tools.

Start date:

The contract duration is 1 year, potentially renewable.
