The Office of Energy and Transport is the cantonal competence center for issues in the fields of energy and public transport. In the field of public transport, we are responsible for the strategic planning and mutual coordination of all public transport in the canton of Grisons. We coordinate rail and road public transport and are responsible for the planning, design, and implementation of projects for future-oriented public transport. Good connections to the national and international rail network as well as regular and frequent connections in regional and metropolitan transport are of central importance for the preservation and development of the living, tourist, and economic space of Grisons.

We are looking for the Office of Energy and Transport, starting from 1 January 2027 or by agreement, a public transport procurement procedure controller.

Your area of responsibility

• Implementation of the procurement procedure for regional public transport (TPR) for certain public transport companies (road and rail)
• Handling complex questions in business management and financial law related to public transport
• Procurement of rail freight transport services in the canton of Grisons
• Technical evaluation of rolling stock requests according to ARPV
• Technical evaluation of subsidy requests
• Representation of the canton's interests in tariff associations

What we expect from you

• Passion for strong and economical public transport in the canton of Grisons
• University or university of applied sciences degree in business management or several years of qualified professional experience in the field of management control, auditing, finance, or a related field
• Knowledge of the public transport financing system or a comparably complex business sector (e.g., energy or health sector) is an advantage
• Structured and reliable working method with great autonomy as well as a strong awareness of quality
• Taste for interdisciplinary work, assertiveness, negotiation skills, and ease in dealing with different interest groups
• Impeccable command of the German language, both oral and written
• Good knowledge of several cantonal languages is an advantage
