L'Université Populaire du Canton de Genève (UPCGe) is a non-profit association whose mission is to promote the social, cultural, and civic integration of adults, notably through the teaching of French as a foreign language and the development of basic skills.

In the context of the retirement of the person currently in the position, UPCGe is looking for:

A training manager

Your mission

As training manager, you ensure the coordination, development, and supervision of the entire pedagogical sector. You are responsible for the recruitment, training, and support of volunteer trainers as well as the strategic development of the institution's training offer.

Your main responsibilities

• Lead and develop the entire pedagogical sector of the institution
• Guarantee the quality of training and the continuous improvement of pedagogical practices
• Recruit, train, and support volunteer trainers
• Supervise pedagogical staff and delegated activities
• Ensure the operational coordination of training programs
• Participate in the strategic development of the institution and represent UPCGe to its partners

Your profile

• Federal Brevet of adult trainer (BFFA / FFA-FSEA) or a title deemed equivalent required
• Diploma in teaching French as a foreign language (FLE) or a title deemed equivalent required
• DELF and/or fide examiner certification required
• Proven experience in teaching French as a foreign language to an adult audience
• Experience in the design and management of training systems
• Experience in the recruitment, supervision, and support of volunteers
• Good knowledge of the Geneva network for adult training and integration
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and writing skills
• Ease of working in a network and in an associative environment
