A floor manager

Télé-Thyon S.A. is a dynamic and rapidly expanding company, active in the field of ski lifts, accommodation rental, and catering. In order to complete its teams for the 2026/2027 winter season, Télé-Thyon is looking for its "Restauration" department: # A floor manager Your missions: • Supervise the restaurant floor team during the different stages of service; - Control the setting of tables before and during service and the resetting; - Control the quality, speed of service, and clearing of tables; - Manage payments; - Actively participate in service by taking a section or at the bar; - Manage reservations and prepare floor plans; - Lead the floor team briefings before and after service as well as ensure the handover of instructions in case of the manager's absence; - Participate in the training and supervision of the employees in their team; - Distribute tasks related to floor service according to staff and clientele; - Follow the attendance records of the floor team and report to the manager in case of absence; - Report any malfunction or particular need that could impact operations to their hierarchy; - Assist the manager in administrative tasks; - Ensure good coordination with the kitchen team; - Ensure the monitoring of the application of hygiene standards; - Participate in waste sorting in accordance with the establishment's directives; - Contribute to the snow removal of terraces and restaurant access when necessary. Your profile: • Holder of a CFC as a restaurant specialist or AFP in catering (or equivalent training); - Sense of welcome, floor work, and customer service; - Good interpersonal skills and perfect mastery of customer relationship codes; - Sense of management and leadership; - Excellent team spirit; - Commercial flair; - Excellent presentation, exemplary behavior, and punctuality; - Good command of English; - Good resistance to stress; - Prior knowledge of the restaurant offering, the food and wine menu; - Knowledge of the events of the resort and the ski area (cable car schedules, names of surrounding mountains, etc.); - Good level of skiing or snowboarding allowing to reach the workplace safely, regardless of weather conditions.
