To strengthen our Legal Team, we are looking for a lawyer or a legal professional with sound knowledge and several years of practical experience in financial market law. In this versatile role, you will advise our clients comprehensively and practically on regulatory issues – particularly regarding anti-money laundering law (GwG) as well as FIDLEG and FINIG. You will accompany and advise financial institutions throughout their entire life cycle, conduct licensing and amendment procedures, and be in active exchange with the FINMA. Furthermore, you will advise clients at the interface with SwissComply AG and combine legal expertise with real solutions based on implementation practice in the areas of Compliance and Risk Management.

What you bring with you:

• Master's degree in law from a Swiss university
• Several years of experience in financial market law, preferably as in-house Legal Counsel at a financial institution (e.g., bank, fund management company, securities firm, or asset manager) or at a consulting service provider
• Ideally also compliance and GwG experience
• Knowledge and practical experience with FINMA licensing procedures
• Independent, solution-oriented way of working with enjoyment of responsibility
• Proactive approach in daily business with clients
• Resilient team player with good communication skills
• Decisiveness and assertiveness
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Very good German and English skills in speaking and writing
