University Professor

The employer is looking for an:

Assistant or Associate Professor of Marketing / Management (reported profession)

Tasks:

• teaching university courses in Marketing and Management, including Principles of Marketing, Market Research, Brand Management, Consumer Behavior, Digital Marketing and Green Marketing.
• normally conducting six courses per year (18 US credits, equivalent to approximately 36–38 ECTS), including one course with an integrated academic travel component (Academic Travel).
• developing innovative teaching methods, interdisciplinary activities and practical learning projects.
• promoting collaborations with companies and professional organizations, fostering internships, applied projects and mentoring opportunities.
• conducting continuous scientific research activities, with publications in peer-reviewed academic journals.
• participating in the development of study programs and the updating of the educational offering.
• conducting consulting and mentoring activities for students.
• collaborating with other faculty members and participating in committees, projects and institutional initiatives.

Requirements:

• doctoral degree (PhD) in Marketing, Management or Business Administration, obtained by the date of hire.
• proven experience or solid preparation in university teaching of Marketing.
• ability to integrate Marketing and Business with other disciplines of human, social and applied sciences.
• experience or interest in innovative, interdisciplinary and project-based teaching methodologies.
• documented scientific research activity and an active research program.
• ability to develop relationships with companies, organizations and academic partners.
• aptitude for collaboration, student consulting and participation in academic life.
• excellent command of the English language, the language of instruction of the institution.
• knowledge of a Swiss national language constitutes a preferential qualification.
• category B driving license
