Become a specialist and process complex property damage cases in the areas of liability, motor vehicle, and construction insurance (operational, professional, and construction liability insurance, as well as construction insurance and construction guarantees) independently and proactively. You always put the needs of our customers at the center and respond individually to their needs Determine and assess facts - also on site - and make well-founded decisions on coverage, liability, and recourse issues If necessary, involve internal and external experts, initiate expert opinions, and ensure a correct assessment of the cases Actively negotiate by phone, in writing, or in person with policyholders, claimants, legal representatives, brokers, private insurers, and other internal and external parties. You examine, evaluate, and calculate the liability-related compensation owed, based on contracts, invoices, and receipts - if necessary, in cooperation with experts You have a solid foundation - either from the insurance industry or a legal education - with several years of experience in handling complex damage cases (liability, motor vehicle, and construction insurance) You have further training (e.g., federal certificate as an insurance specialist or CAS construction insurance law, CAS liability and insurance law, etc.) You ideally have basic technical knowledge of construction and contractual knowledge You act in a customer- and solution-oriented manner and have an entrepreneurial mindset You have pronounced communication skills, negotiating skills, and assertiveness You communicate fluently in German - both verbally and in writing
