Head of HR Management (m/f/d) As the fifth largest canton in Switzerland with around 6000 employees, we at the cantonal administration are committed to the common good of society. September 2026 or by arrangement as Head of HR Management (m/f/d) You assume overall responsibility for HR Management in the Finanzdepartement and lead two HR Business Partners You support the Department Head, the Secretary General, and the Office Heads in strategic HR matters You control the HR Management and continuously optimize the HR structures, processes, and roles in the department on the basis of the overarching objectives and principles You advise and support managers throughout the entire HR life cycle You are responsible for central HR topics in the Finanzdepartement such as personnel development, recruitment, and payroll processes You actively participate in shaping the further development of cantonal personnel policy in cooperation with other departments and the central personnel office You represent the department in HR committees and participate in cross-cutting projects You have a higher education in the field of HR, business administration, or a comparable qualification You bring several years of experience in a comparable function including leadership experience You have sound knowledge in the development of employees and managers You are an initiative, committed personality with high personal responsibility and great engagement You think strategically, act solution-oriented, and pragmatically You convince through communication strength, conflict resolution competence, and assertiveness A responsible key role with great creative freedom A exciting environment with diverse challenges Exciting tasks at the interface between strategy and operational implementation as well as in exchange with diverse stakeholders Flexible working and contemporary employment conditions Modern work equipment and a professional HR infrastructure Generalsekretariat | , Generalsekretär Finanzdepartement, E-Mail schreiben (<>) jpidcfecb8bjm jit0730jm jiy26jm
