It also ensures comprehensive information management and orientation at ETH Zürich and is responsible for the retail and gastronomy offerings. With your manual skills, your service orientation, and your sense of responsibility, you contribute daily to ensuring that office, teaching, and laboratory rooms are professionally furnished and ready for operation. Job Description ## You independently undertake deliveries, transports, as well as the assembly and disassembly of furniture and facilities. In doing so, you ensure that workplaces, offices, and laboratory rooms are professionally furnished and that moves and reorganizations run smoothly. You also take care of the return, reprocessing, and storage of furniture and support the sustainable reuse of facilities. You also take on an important role in the warehouse area: you control incoming goods, receive deliveries, store materials, and prepare picked furniture for delivery. Furthermore, you carry out triage and recycling work, assist with inventories, and ensure order and functionality in the warehouse. Your tasks also include the care, cleaning, and maintenance of the vehicles, machines, devices, and tools entrusted to you. In doing so, you work closely with colleagues as well as internal and external partners and, with your solution-oriented and reliable way of working, make an important contribution to the success of the team. Profile ## • Completed vocational training as a logistician, driver, or a comparable training • Professional experience in the field of transport, assembly, warehouse management, or facility services is an advantage • Good manual skills and technical understanding • Experience in the assembly and disassembly of furniture and facilities • Understanding of floor plans and furnishing plans • Driving license category B and ideally category C • Good German language skills in speaking and writing • High degree of independence and organizational ability • Reliable, responsible, and careful way of working • Good physical resilience and enjoyment of practical work • Strong teamwork skills and collegial behavior • Friendly and professional appearance when dealing with customers and partners • High service and solution orientation Successfully together - with the ETH values In addition to your professional qualification, we attach great importance to ETH social and leadership competencies.
