What awaits you

• You analyze the financial performance of Life and Non-Life and explain understandably what drives the results and deviations
• You identify risks and opportunities early, develop a forward-looking view, and recommend concrete steering measures
• You are responsible for planning and forecast processes, question assumptions, and ensure consistency between business plans and financial goals
• You work closely with Insurance, Sales & Marketing, Actuarial, and other specialist departments and challenge topics such as volume, product mix, pricing, underwriting, claims, and reserving
• You combine data, operative business drivers, and financial impacts into clear management insights and decision-making bases
• You ensure the timely and high-quality provision of central controlling results and ensure clear responsibilities and transparent communication

What you bring with you

• Completed studies in Finance, Business Administration, Controlling, Insurance Economics, Actuarial Science, or a comparable field of study
• Several years of experience in Controlling, Financial Planning & Analysis, or Performance Management in the insurance industry, as well as sound knowledge of the Life and Non-Life business
• Very good understanding of insurance KPIs, P&L, and the central operative value drivers; experience with planning, forecasting, and management reporting.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex relationships into clear statements, recommendations for action, and audience-appropriate management storylines
• Proactive, structured, and solution-oriented way of working with high personal responsibility as well as enjoyment in constructively challenging specialist departments
• Very good English skills, German is an advantage
