Your contribution

• Develop and be responsible for test strategies, test concepts and test plans for demanding specialist applications
• Plan, coordinate and execute test activities across all test levels as well as support quality and release decisions
• Build, further develop and integrate automated test solutions and test frameworks into modern development and deployment processes
• Analyze quality risks, apply risk-based testing procedures and create meaningful quality metrics
• Advise business analysts, project managers and other stakeholders on questions regarding quality, testability and Quality Engineering
• Continuously further develop methods, processes and standards in the field of test management and test automation

What makes you unique

• Higher education (HF/FH) or equivalent degree in computer science, business informatics, software engineering or a comparable field of study
• Experience in test management, Quality Engineering or in the quality assurance of complex specialist applications
• Sound know-how in test automation with Selenium as well as in modern development processes (CI/CD, Shift Left)
• Knowledge of established testing methods as well as ideally an ISTQB Advanced Level certification or a comparable qualification
• Analytical mindset, enjoyment of interdisciplinary cooperation as well as an independent and solution-oriented way of working
• Good active knowledge of a second official language as well as good English skills

fedpol develops and operates national information systems and fulfills supervisory, licensing and enforcement tasks in weapons and explosives law. The Directorate for Police Systems and Identification (PSI) of fedpol ensures the secure operation and further development of central police information systems and databases, is responsible for the national hub for police information exchange and provides identification and forensic services for domestic and foreign partner authorities. The Police Systems Division (POLS) ensures the secure and stable operation of central information systems of the Swiss police. It develops these systems further according to requirements using agile methods and ensures their availability, functionality and performance for police work.
