Animal Care Specialist EFZ or Animal Caretaker FBA 20 -100% (a)

We are looking for someone to join us immediately or by arrangement as an Animal Care Specialist EFZ or Animal Caretaker FBA 20 -100% (a) who initially wants to start part-time – with the possibility to increase the workload later.

Your tasks

• Picking up and dropping off our day guests
• Care, feeding and grooming of the dogs
• Dog walks and activities for the dogs
• Cleaning, tidying and environmental work
• Creating photos and videos for our social media channels
• Care of our holiday dogs incl. overnight stays on-site in our dog hotel in Amden

What you bring with you

• Training as an Animal Care Specialist EFZ or FBA (mandatory)
• Driver's license (mandatory) with a safe driving style, enjoys driving a car
• Joy and experience in dealing with dogs
• Experience in handling several dogs simultaneously (not mandatory, but an advantage)
• Motivated, open and reflective thinking as well as mentally and physically resilient, flexible
• Service mentality, flexibility and independent way of working
• Proactive and independent way of working
• Sense of responsibility, reliability and willingness to bear responsibility
• Own vehicle/bus is an advantage, but not mandatory
• Willingness to stay overnight at the dog hotel in Amden approx. 1× per month on the weekend
• Initiative and willingness to roll up your sleeves – also with cleaning and environmental work
• Good communication skills in German and/or English
• Ability to handle conflict and emergency situations
• Creativity and a good eye for beautiful photo and video recordings are a plus
