Les Vernes, 1852 Roche • Log in to see the jobup.ch salary estimation Del West, an international company, leader in the field of motorsport (F1, MotoGP, NASCAR) and rapidly growing in watchmaking, is looking for its unit in Switzerland (Vaud) to start immediately, a Quality Manager at 100% ### in order to strengthen its quality organization. Reporting to the Production Director, you will take charge of product and process quality, from industrialization to delivery to the customer. Your mission is to structure and evolve our quality system, to sustainably reduce non-quality, and to develop a shared quality culture close to the field. You will supervise the quality control team, composed of inspectors and technicians, and collaborate closely with production, R&D, industrialization, methods, programming, maintenance, and planning. Your main responsibilities • Structure the management flows for conforming, non-conforming, rework, or concession-subject parts. • Define acceptance criteria, standards, methods, and control plans. • Guarantee the application of controls in production and at final inspection. • Strengthen the traceability of products, batches, tools, and control operations. • Manage the processing of internal non-conformities, from detection to closure. • Conduct root cause analyses using appropriate tools such as QRQC, A3, or 8D. • Define corrective actions, monitor their implementation, and verify their effectiveness. • Provide the necessary technical elements to the Quality Assurance function within the framework of customer complaints and audits. • Contribute to the robustness and standardization of industrial files (routings, instructions, CTQ, and tooling), manage industrial validations (FAI and PPAP if necessary), and guarantee their consistency between the design office, methods, production, and quality control. • Participate in industrial validations and ensure that quality requirements are properly taken into account in production files. • Define monitoring plans and deploy SPC. • Implement and monitor operational quality indicators. • Lead quality rituals (AIC, QRQC, and weekly reviews) and develop simple and robust visual standards favoring action tracking and continuous improvement. • Train and support operators, setters, team leaders, and inspectors in the application of quality requirements. Your profile: • Higher technical, industrial, or specialized education in quality. • Proven experience in a quality management function within a demanding industrial environment. • Good understanding of high-precision part manufacturing processes. • Experience in team management and change management. • Mastery of ISO standards and problem-solving tools such as 8D, QRQC, A3, 5 why, or Ishikawa. • Knowledge of FAI, FMEA, monitoring plans, capabilities, and SPC tools. • Very good command of French and professional English. Experience in a demanding industrial environment, such as CNC machining, precision mechanics, watchmaking, motorsport, mass-market automotive, or aeronautics, constitutes a real asset.
